What does it take?
The FAA requires 40 hours of flight instruction. Although, a reasonable time to complete the program is 45-55 hours.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years old
  • Must read, speak, and write English
  • 40 hours cumulative
    flight time (2    0 dual/10 solo minimums)
  • Pass written test
  • Pass flight test
  • Approximate cost $4,000 to $5,000
